Illustrative Visualization of Physiological Processes

As part of the larger Illvisation project, we are exploring highlighting and narrative visualization techniques to guide the user's attention through a series of biochemical reactions. We investigated techniques to guide the user's attention to elements of interest in large, dynamic visualizations with minimal visual deformation or subjective disturbance, and to visually communicate complex processes across multiple temporal scales.
